Het "unihockey A-team" is een sportclub uit het Antwerpse gepassioneerd door floorball, wat ook wel unihockey of inebandy genoemd wordt.
We zijn een jonge sportclub opgericht in 2003 door een groep vrienden van op de Universiteit Antwerpen.

Floorball ontleent veel van zijn regels aan ijshockey, maar wordt gespeeld in een sportzaal, met gewone schoenen, kunststof sticks en een lichte geperforeerde bal van kunststof. De spelregels zijn vrij eenvoudig, waardoor de sport laagdrempelig is.

We trainen elke dinsdag van 21:00 tem 23:00 in de UA Sporthal Stadscampus (Hoek Grote Kauwenberg - Vekestraat, Overkant café De Prof, Antwerpen), link google maps.
Momenteel spitsen we ons toe op de weekelijkse trainingen, de vriendschappelijke wedstrijden met andere, al dan niet competitie spelende, clubs en de interfac wedstrijden.

The "unihockey A-team" is a sportsclub from Antwerp passionate by floorball, also called unihockey (in Dutch) or inebandy. We are a young sportclub founded in 2003 by a group of friends from the University of Antwerp.

Floorball uses many rules similar to icehockey, but is being played in a sportshall, using normal indoor sportshoes, carbon sticks and a slightly perforated ball of carbon. The rules are quite simple, making the sport easily accessible to anyone.

We train every tuesday from 9pm till 11pm at the UA sportshall city campus (Corner Grote Kauwenberg - Vekestraat, Oppossite to pub De Prof, Antwerp), link google maps.
Currently our teams main focus is on the weekly trainings, the friendly games against other (non-)competition playing teams and organizing unihockey interfac competition at the University of Antwerp.
